In April 2019, my father and I are completing the National Breast Cancer Foundation's Outback Trek for Research - a 5 day trek through the Larapinta Trail, Northern Territory, to raise much needed funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF).
Our motivation for completing the challenge is my mother, Patrea, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007. Despite being in remission for 10 years, our family received the devastating news in February 2018 that the cancer had returned.
Mum's strength, determination and positivity in the face of this adversity is truly inspirational, and the reason why we have set ourselves this challenge.
Your generosity in donating whatever you can to support the NBCF in changing the lives of women and families affected by breast cancer is truly appreciated.
Please note that Dad and I are funding our trip ourselves and all funds raised through this page go directly to NBCF.
Simply click 'Give Now' to donate.
Thank you in advance for your support!
